Before I announce the winner of the December Challenge I would like to thank everyone who entered, gorgeous pages all and it made the job of picking a winner very very difficult.
So without further ado congratulations to KERRI SMITH -
Lovely page Kerri, we were impressed with how you interpreted the challenge as well as how you always scrap the everyday moments that somehow sometimes seem to get lost.
If you could send us an email (our email address is in the left side bar at the bottom of the page) with your address we will have a small prize for you.
Cheers and thanks again all who linked up

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE
Well, the month of February is well and truly under way and it just so happens that it is also a very special month for me and my hubby, as Valentines Day is also our Wedding anniversary..... This year we have been married for 21 years.
Now, before I tell you about our Challenge I need to introduce my Guest Designer..... I love her style and she is not afraid to try new things...get messy and be creative..
Please Meet.......
Through an online parenting website in which they had a Scrapbook Thread, about 7 years ago.
Q2.Do you have a handy tip you could share with us?
Q3. What type of camera do you have?
Q4. What products do you love at the moment?
Q5. Who inspires YOU?
Yay for me...........I managed to get in nice and early this time......phew.
How awesome is the sketch challenge that Kim has given us as well using the sketch she asks that we add buttons, beads/sequins and such.
So my take on this all has kept pretty close to the sketch.
I tried a few different things on this page, I won't fill up here with the details but if you are interested pop over to my blog and I will let you know what I have done.
One thing I will say is that instead of one or two pics I decided to fill the heart shape up with pics of my family and my two closest friends, plus on the outside is the names of two other dear friends Anne and Denise, couldn't fit their pics in.
I really hope that you will join in our challenge this month and have some fun, hugs and love to all.
Annette
Mary will add her layout when she has a chance...so remember to pop back and check, later
Thanks x
Hello Mary here with my take on Kim's Challenge
Everyone's layouts are amazing, and thank you Shauna for being our Guest Designer this month, beautiful layout.
I have made my heart out of canvas that has been soaked in coffee, material and lace and then some trinkets sew on. For close ups visit my blog http://www.mbennetts.blogspot.com.au/
Looking forward to seeing lots of gorgeous layouts this month, the month of Love
Cheers

So I decided to ask Shauna a few questions, so we could get to know her a little better.
Q1. How did you discover Scrapbooking?
Through an online parenting website in which they had a Scrapbook Thread, about 7 years ago.
Q2.Do you have a handy tip you could share with us?
Use a sketch or colour palette as a jumping off point. If I think about something too much it usually goes pear-shaped. If I just let the prompt guide me, the rest usually comes naturally.
Q3. What type of camera do you have?
I still use my Nokia Mobile Phone!
Q4. What products do you love at the moment?
Kaisercraft cardstock for my bases. Kaisercraft Mini Patterned Paper Pads, AC Thickers, Tattered Angels Glimmermist, Crafters Workshop Templates.
Q5. Who inspires YOU?
All scrapbookers inspire me in one way or the other. I surf blogs for inspiration & when I see a technique or an idea I want to try, I save it for future reference. It really could be any scrapper!
Make sure you pop on over to
Shauna's Blog and check out her talent!!!
Now onto the Challenge.....so of course this months challenge has to have a heart involved.....sooo I thought how about a sketch...
So a pretty basic sketch....the only other criteria is I would like to see BUTTONS-BEADS-and/or SEQUINS.
Shauna has done a brilliant job...take a look,
{i heart you}

MY BAD
Yes my bad.......I am either uber early with my take on the monthly challenge or digustingly late....can you guess which this is?
Mary set the challenge with a theme of new/new beginnings to embrace the start of the New Year. I knew that this pic of my two newest great neice and nephew would be just perfect.
Used lots of Kaiser on this page, pp, flowers, bling, pearls, rubbon, doilies. Cutest little angel wing chippies are from Scrapmatts and small rose, leaves and Collection Butterflies from CrafQueen plus stitching, inking and distressing.
Looking forward to our Challenge for February coming to us from the lovely Miss Kim. I will be working on that this weekend so............hopefully........I can make it this time.
Hugs and love to all
