Welcome to the New Year, have you made a resolution or are you like me and just winging it?
In line with the beginning of this year I thought that a nice challenge would be Friendship with journalling. This could be about old friends, new the choice is yours. I have done my example using a pic which was taken on the 28th December 2013 of my lovely friends Mary and Kim with the most gorgeous lady, Kylie Fraser, who I had the previous pleasure of meeting in March last year.
(Picture Perfect)
The journalling on this tags reads - "Scrapbooking has given me the chance to make some very dear friends and to be able to met many on-line friends irl. I had met Kylie last year and when I saw on Facebook that she was travelling out this way I asked if she could stop in Orange so Mary and Kim could meet her. At Anything Grows we spent time chatting and enjoying the company. All too soon it was time for Kylie to continue her trip home to Canberra"
I used so much yumminess on this page it is hard to know where to start. All the pp, rubbon, larger flowers and diecuts (which I have made a vow to use much more, I have so many) are from Pickled Pear by Kaisercraft, chippie flourish is Scrapmatts, small wooden embellies, smaller flowers and leaves (Prima), washi tape and metal dragonfly are all from CraftQueen.
So however you choose to interprete this challenge I look forward to seeing your pages.
Hugs and love till then
Annette

Happy New Year to one and all, and welcome to another 12 months of challenges at Orange Paperie and Co. Another great challenge set by Miss Annette to kick the year off, its all about Friendships, and this is my take...
{Perfect Day}
My Mum and her sister Marj, siblings and friends, Marj being the second born of nine and mum the fourth born.... They were always close as children, and their friendship did not diminish over the years, even after meeting and marrying the men of their dreams and going their separate ways their friendship remained strong. This picture was taken in Narooma in December of 2012 and it was to be the last time they ever saw each other with Marj passing away in June of 2013. The fond memories will always remain.
Love and hugs to all... Cheryl xx

Mary here,
boy
hard act to follow, gorgeous layouts girls. I am looking forward to
seeing lots of entries on this challenge after the girls layouts to
inspire.
My layout is of my Best friend of over 30 years, who I
was lucky to have visited over the Christmas period and we went on a
little road trip to visit another friend for a day. I couldn't help but
think how when we were younger (all those years ago) our road trips were
a bit different :)
Kim will by later to add her layout in the meantime start scrapping about friendship with journalling
Happy New Year, may all your dreams come true.
Remember to upload into Mr Linky by the end of the month
Thank you all for your support during 2013....looking forward to a wonderful
2014
