Well it is back to me again to set the challenge for our little blog, the time just rolls around way too quick and then it is brain strain, so I decided to chose something very simple for this month, FLOWERS and CHIPBOARD. How super easy is that, you can use them anyway that you would like.
Now this would be the space where I would introduce you to our Guest Designer for the month, unfortunately I did have a super talented lady lined up for this month but due to major ill health she is unable to join us this month.
But NEVER fear loyal followers I do have something special for you all, the winner of my challenge for this month will receive a lovely little parcel of goodies very generously donated by Nicole at Craft Queen.
It's a bit of a secret as to what will be in the parcel (mainly because I haven't picked it up) but I will put up a pic by the end of this week to show you all what you are playing for, oooh the suspense!!!!
My example is another gorgeous pic of my great neice Lailah, this kid is just way too cute.
I used a beautiful Manor House flower that I pulled apart, some Kaisercraft paper flowers and some sweet little ribbon roses, lace and flowers plus Collections Picket Fence from Craft Queen. The pp is Bo Bunny - Welcome Home. and the lovely frame is from ScrapMatts. I rubbed gesso over all the chipboard pieces, I find that the gesso gives a bit better coverage than paint plus using your fingers help to give a more rustic look especially to the little fence.
How gorgeous are the examples done by Cheryl and Jo? Divine.
The talent that is Kim and Mary will put their pages up mid month to help give you some more inspiration.
Hope you all have fun with this challenge and can't wait to see your entries, until then, hugs and love from me, Annette xo
Hi all, another month has flown by ever so quickly and here we are once more with another challenge on our doorstep, this time by the lovely Annette. And here is my take. Hoping you all have fun with this one......Cheryl.
Beautiful work Chery! And thanks Annette for setting the challenge of Chippies and Flowers this month. Two of my fave items to use in my work.
I do hope you can all join in this month!
