My name is Sandra Scott and I’m married to a wonderful man who supports my creative hobby. Between us we have four adult children and six grandchildren.
I’ve been scrapbooking for about six years but I’ve always had some sort of craft ranging from sewing, decoupage, OTP projects, knitting and attempts at painting.
I can’t say I have a distinct style because I really like experimenting and being inspired by others. I would say my scrapbooking is quite eclectic because some days I love simple pages and others I love to get dirty and grungy or really girly, it just depends on the task at hand
At the moment I love experimenting with the art journal techniques.
Products used:
Bo Bunny Isabella Patterned Paper
Cardstock
La La Land Crafts Eiffel Tower Die
FWAB Pearls
Green Tara Roses
Kaisercraft Pearl Flourish
American Craft Thickers Alpha
Versa Color Old Rose Ink Pad
Heart Trim, large flower, white doily and spotted bow from stash
I fussy cut the butterflies, pink doilies and tags from the paper range.
The mood board spoke of love to me so I decided to use a B/W photo of my daughter’s wedding. The Eiffel Tower is direct from the mood board and the flowers from the bed and the colour grey from each photo on the board.
Regards
Sandra
The Moodboard that I am asking you to take your inspiration from this month
And Here is Sandra's beautiful take on the challenge
AMORE
and some close ups ~ Just beautiful and delicate
I would recommend you visit Sandra's blog . Thank you so much Sandra for being our GD this month.
Another month flown by.... (won't be long until Christmas!!..Sorry!!) and here I am again with my take on Mary's mood board challenge. I have chosen to take my inspiration from the colours, and have used a pic of my little 3rd Cousin, the ever so sweet Georgia, who is only a few months old.
A bit strange I guess to use a baby pic with these colours but I think it worked?
.
I have used paint to do the stencilling (stencil from Craft Queen) and stamping (Kaiser script stamp) The background started off as white cardstock to which I added various glimmermists and Tim Holtz distress inks and blended all together. The flowers are from a Spellbinders template, the green flower is Green Tara and the vine template is from an unknown source ( which means... I can't remember... sorry!)
Phew!!! and after all that, thank you to Mary for another great challenge.

Thanks Cheryl, beautiful layout and what a precious photo
Well I can't imagine why I picked this mood board :) But my layout is of course........ Paris !
Fittingly the PP is Kaiser "Bonjour" Range . The girl & Paris stamp is from a set I brought at the Penrith Papercraft Show ( Lots of fabulous Paris stamps in the set ) from Stampinstyle . Some Satin Seam binding and trim.
Looking forward to lots of amazing entries
